Welcome....

Want to catch up with some of the latest discussions at the UN related to sustainable development?  Need to know who was saying what during the 17th CSD on issues such as agriculture, land, Africa, drought, desertification?  Or, are you just curious to know what on earth goes on at a UN meeting or what a term like 'sustainable development' even means?

At the 17th UN Commission on Sustainable Development, Stakeholder Forum teamed up with the BBC World Service Trust and UN Radio to produce a series of daily podcasts and a newsletter throughout the two weeks.  We made it our mission to interview the decision-makers, to tackle the big issues, and above all to produce lively programmes and articles from a range of perspectives.

To listen to our podcasts, including our daily programme ‘Today at the CSD’, our series of panel discussions ‘Greentables’ or our biographical profiles on key players ‘Pioneers of the Planet’ just head over to the radio section

To read our daily publication, Outreach Issues, produced every morning throughout the Commission just click here.
